Q: Pre-season did I think, in the next million years,  I would be crushed if the IU football team merely made a “regular” top tier January Bowl game.

A: No. But here we are.
At this point anything less than a playoff berth will be disappointing. After all, we are IU football!

Hey, you gamblin’ folk around here: isn’t home field usually a field goal? If that’s the deal is this suggesting that IU-Penn St on a neutral field would be a pick’em game?

No to the bold. The line is set for the books to make money, ideally, they get 50% of the money on each side, and they get the juice.

The first part, yes.

If anybody questions our position in the CFP field -- that's fine. But you'd have to do the same for Penn State.

If the argument is that we haven't beaten anybody, could repeat that abut the Nits.

Pretty much the only difference between their schedule and ours is that they've already played O$U.

Other than Michigan -- last year's national champion -- we've beaten the crap out of everyone. Penn State struggled with Bowling Green, needed OT to beat Southern Cal and beat UCLA 27-11 at home. We beat the John Woodens 42-13 on the road.

Thanks for the fix -- but really didn't need fixing.

The reason I used that phrasing when noting the schedule differences is that they've played O$U. We haven't played O$U yet.

You changed it to they lost to O$U -- while we haven't lost to O$U.

So you're already marking that as a "L" for us? Oh ye of little faith!!!
