Transfer Portal w IU Interest

Recommended Posts

Since the jump to 15 scholarships take affect next season, I love the idea of getting some 3 star Indiana kids to come in at the end of the bench. Maybe some of those kids develop, but they will at least be bought in and care in most cases. We can't rely on that, still need to get high rated recruits from hs and the transfer portal, but after a couple seasons, it can probably give us at least 1 rotational player a year who just plays their @$$ off to wear Indiana on their jersey.

I think we start Monday morning off right with the additions of his son, and Connor Enright. A starter and a solid bench piece.

I'm not convinced Enright is anything more than a back of the bench guy who shouldn't be in the rotation. But would be happy to be wrong if he comes.

If it’s the Culver’s incident and it’s true (rumor not confirmed to be true) then I agree he should’ve been probably kicked off with it being his second incident

Taco Bell now Culver's?..did he do something naughty with cheese curds?

Enright will probably be a bench player, but his passing game is very good.

Yes. He's a really good passer. But so limited in the rest of his offensive game that it's tough to count on him for a lot.

Just to add a little color: excellent assist rate, equally terrible turnover rate - both (in my opinion) because he was forced to be more of a playmaker than he's really capable of being (I know he didn't struggle with that as much at Drake but still turned it over far too often there). Poor shooter unless you believe his 2024 is reliable - and his FT% indicates that was an aberration. Doesn't really score much without outside shooting.

Best case is that he stops turning it over on a better team/in a better system, continues to pass well, and reliably hits 3s - and that's absolutely a guy we could use. I'm just not optimistic he gets there.

YES !!!!!! LFG !!!!!! Bring this man home !!!!

Obviously with Sean miller going to Texas I would imagine IU would take a look at him unless conwell entered the portal with a no contact tag

Who to say he doesn’t just follow him to Texas lol, also Rabby said do not contact is going to be a lot more common this year because recruits were overly drowning with phone calls lol

Enright is a high IQ PG and an absolute pest defensively. He'll most likely be in the rotation and the kind of player that will be hard to keep out of it....a la Leal.

Go back and find USPS’s post on how good he is defensively.

Him following him to Texas is the literal reason I brought up the do not contact tag. It is possible he does. But if he looks otherwise first expect IU to take a look
