In touch with Sean Stewart, the 247 scout on him out of HS has him as a switchy, strong, athletic 4 who has work to do to develop his offense and especially shooting:

Didn’t take a 3 all year at Duke, pretty clear red light from Scheyer. But the 247 scout seemed to indicate he’s been working on it. Shot well from 2 in limited minutes, was a McD AA

Looks like a strong defender from the #s too. Shot well at the rim — hit about 2/3rds of his non-dunks, about the same ratio assisted — but was 3/12 on other twos. So offensively, basically a center. Terrific rebounder on both ends.

IMHO a good fit if he’s willing to play ~20% of minutes again as a sophomore while he grows his game…but if he wanted another year of that he could stay at Duke for it. Bet he ends up somewhere with a chance at a job share at least, maybe more.

Wolf vs Ballo will be interesting. Complete contrast of styles.

No official announcement yet but May is also getting his 7'1 center from FAU to come with him.

If Dusty May goes with 2 7-footers in his lineup Hoosier fans may lose their minds.

It sure does look like that is what Dusty is going to do. OR had the Yale kid for developing and replace after next year since he is only a sophomore ... either way those two will be good at center and as a backup center if he doesn't do a two under 3 out

Wolf can shoot it.  Just don't know how you can play them both defensively at the same time.  That said, Goldin played 21 mpg as a junior and 25 mpg as a senior.....doubt you would see much Wolf and Goldin on the court at the same time if at all.

IU:  Ballo and Reneau

Purdue:  Berg and Kaufmann-Renn (if Berg starts;  I'm not convinced he will)

Maryland:  Reese and Queen

Michigan:  Goldin and Wolf?

Minnesota:  Mitchell (transfer fro Cansius) and Garcia

Ohio State:  Bradshaw and Okpara?

There are a lot of Big Ten teams now that will potentially see two bigs on the court together.
