Normally I'd say that after getting us back to the tournament in back to back years after not having been for four years straight, he could have a pass for an off year. But this year is SO ugly and so full of the same issues we've seen throughout Woody's entire tenure that I've lost all confidence in our ability to actually be competitive with this staff. Sure, we will probably win a few more games here and there. Maybe even an upset or two. I hate to be harsh because I'd have liked Woodson to succeed here, but I honestly don't think the team could do anything else to convince me it'll be worthwhile to have a fourth season with this staff.

The fact is, this team never had a chance because of roster construction. And it STILL has enough talent that it should be performing way better than it is. Woody's post game comments are particularly dry and lacking tone. Things are going to get ugly... I hope the admin spares us all the ache and pain after this offseason. Not getting my hopes too high though. All I know is I can't torture myself by watching many more performances like yesterday.

Woodson's antics have really hardened my view of him over the past year apparently. Apathy at an all time high... and a year later I am still torturing myself watching even worse performances than last year. Now, Banks and Gunn sure look like they could've helped more than they did. I hope us true fans are rewarded with a real coach next year.

Can’t remember which of the knuckleheads it was. When Dakich was named coach he called out the guys for skipping class, smoking and whoring. Whoever it was didn’t like being held responsible and he picked up a flower pot and threw it at DD

It was Eli Holman. He survived the DD purge so it was Crean he threw the pot at.

Nope. He threw it at Crean when Tom told him he was no longer welcome at IU. Dan put his foot down after watching all kinds of stuff happen for months. There was a reason the University never considered him as the permanent coach, and it was his total lack of credibility. Those bridges will burn on for years.
