That don’t surprise me.  He’s definitely a Woodson supporter and he still has to get paid by the university since he probably won’t be make a ton of money playing basketball because he sucks!

Hey, maybe he can start racing cars for a living!

He probably hit himself in the nuts while he was letting everyone know who his real identity is.

The Mackey point you made is notable.
Can you imagine 15,000 Purdump dingbats chanting in unison "Keep Mike Woodson!"
It will be awful yet awesome when (not if) that happens.
That's not fair, they didn't keep Ryan Walters like we wanted.

Good game of dominos and a fresh bottle of red just got popped. No time for recruiting

With this staffs inability to build a roster that actually fits together well and capable of winning, let him drink and smoke. Let the next coach do the recruiting.

I do think there are some players that could be good under a different system and coach.  But I expect some roster turnover this offseason.

Is that his identity or name on X “ScottDolsonBurner”?  I don’t get on X so I don’t know how names are.

Some of this may have already been posted so I apologize ahead of time if some of is repeated.

I got this from the ITH on 5 takeaways from last nights lose.

The 2 big lineup wasn’t going to work and Reneau should not of played that much.  Matter of fact, I think Reneau’s role should be just to come in to give Ballo a rest, at least until he gets close to 100%.  This was posted in one of the takeaways:

According to Synergy Sports, the numbers with both players on the floor were not encouraging. With Ballo and Reneau playing together, Indiana scored .53 points per possession. And defensively, the Hoosiers gave up 1.58 points per possession with the duo on the floor.

And this was posted in the last takeaway, which proves he has no clue what he is doing:

“What do you think is holding this team back, right now, from playing kinda cohesively for a full, you’ve talked about having stretches, but for a full 40 minutes?”   “I wish I knew. I’m still trying to figure it out,” Woodson said. “I know we got Malik back, and we knew we weren’t going to play him very many minutes tonight. But we had a hell of a defensive half, and then we come out and give up 54 points and we pile on the turnovers. I mean, it was just a bad combination. We just didn’t play well in the second half.”

Woodson was asked if he was concerned about IU’s lack of connectivity defensively at this stage of the season.  “No. I mean, you can never get worried,” Woodson said. “There’s too many games still left. We play a good game on the road and beat Ohio State, and then come here and got an opportunity to win a game and we let it get away the second half. You gotta give them credit. They played their butts off in the second half, and we didn’t.”

If I were Scott Dolson I would be ticked off if someone is using his name like that!

Ken Bikoff -

#IUBB has now given up at least 52 points in a half four times this year. Louisville (52), Gonzaga (57), Illinois (60), and Northwestern (54). IU has scored 50-plus points in a half just twice against Eastern Illinois (54) and Sam Houston (55).

Serious adjustments by the Coaching Staff at half (sarcasm). Let's be honest, Ya isn't cooking up adjustments at the half...ahhhh, thanks World Wide Wes.

Woodson’s refusal to adjust to a modern style of basketball has cost us numerous games. Chalk this one up as another. Malik and Ballo cannot be playing together.

I alluded to this on a pure guess in the game thread. All those numbers suck except the last def numbers. Ironically people want us to go small to score but it’s the only way we can defend. Woodys offense is not good but defense is a much larger issue. I’ll scream this to my grave.

When Rice referred to Woodson as a grandpa it was a sign of how this season would go.

This may be more old school...but coaches need to strike a bit of fear into their players. Sitting them on the bench is a good start...If not, then you're liable of having the players run the program. Clearly, grandpa is a term, you wouldn't want for the coach coaching/managing your favorite team or school. Now father figure can be different, because father's instill discipline, grandpas? not so much. Of all the great managers, and coaches...Joe Torre, Bob Knight, Coach K, Scotty Bowman...etc, I'm pretty sure not one of them has ever been likened to a player's "Grandpa."

Fear is a tool of the weak-minded. Respect vs fear has a clear winner. No person needs to try and make someone fear them.
