It’s the only program I saw him linked to after he hit the portal. Pairing him with Nelson, assuming both are healthy, could be pretty serious next season.

I was thinking the same thing.  Him with Nelson could be a solid combo for them.

Excited to see the commitment, but the young man is on the small side - seeing 5'7", 5'8" or so...scares me with some some of the bigger B1G receivers.

I guess he will get plenty of practice going up again McCulley every day in practice.

Yeah he's for sure small. Probably the reason why he was at Austin Peay to begin with. They need depth at that position and adding one of the topped ranked FCS corners will definitely add competition during practice. He's just the type of guy Coach Cig wants, someone that has something to prove with a chip on his shoulder. Who knows if he'll ever step foot on the gridiron on Saturdays. Best of luck to him and I hope he beats the odds.

I will say he did get a pick and PD against Bama in 2022 and a FF, 4 solos, 2 ast and 1 PD against the Vols last year. So he's no stranger to size. He also sees size at the FCS level as well.

WR Derrick Bohler, QB Broc Lowry, and RB Trent Howland are the newest post-ish-spring ball portalers.

I like Howland but given what the staff wants from the backs I didn't see him sticking around. Pass pro and receiving out of the backfield aren't his strong suits. He likely could've had a role in short yardage situations but he can get a much larger role in a power running scheme.

Maybe Minnesota will take him back lol.

OL Josh Witt, TE Anthony Miller Jr., and DL Trey Laing to the portal.

Only one of those were for sure on scholly. I am not sure Witt and Laing were. Same thing with McMahon..

So.. I think we have 4 available, unless one of those three WERE on scholly.

I think McMahon was a walk on.
