Hurley is likely about to land another SG in Australian Jacob Furphy. Decision is being made this week.

That would pi$$ off Underwood. Illinois put in a lot of work on that one.

Looks like this player is a 6'4.5" combo guard. Tons of high-level success in U18 international play.

Definitely a player that would impact Mullins' potential ability to play early in his college career.

Mullins really need to look at all the players UCONN will have next year at the 1-3 position.

I don't throw my opinion out often on recruits.

I don't recall you predicting anyone to IU, only ones 'not coming'.

Did you predict Mgbako, Tucker, or Sisley to IU?  If not, that really says all you need to know.

It’s as simple as this: With Barrel Rick lies the answer.

He said what he said, strongly. He/she has not commented since the UConn visit.

So either, Barrel Rick is keeping quiet on purpose to add intrigue to the recruitment/not ruin the decision.

Or, UConn did their thing and Barrel Rick doesn’t want to disappoint the fans yet.

I know Mullins wants to win. Much like McNeely, I could see UConn pulling this off.

Mullins family wants to be closer home all else being equal.

IU is offering more from a Nil perspective.

I am pretty confident Indiana wins out here but…….Barrel Rick knows.

For closest comparison....

Is Mullins a Tyler Herro or a Reed Sheppard?

Because I'll take about 12 Reed Sheppards at differing sizes.

Someone explain to my like I'm five how Cal could only manage to get a kid shooting 54% from the field and 52% from three eight shots per game.

If he’s 3/4 as good as either one he will be successful on any team. Let’s hope his game translates the same way as those 2.

Take it for what it is worth. Talking to my brother and he was talking with his former son and law about Mullins. His son of law is friends with Mullins dad and said UCONN offered $750,000. So if we doubled their offer that would mean 1.5 mil. I have a hard time believing we would offer that much.

Because he made “promises” to Edwards and Wagner. Sheppard and Dillingham went 3rd and 8th in the draft and had 6 combined starts between them. This is why I will never feel bad about missing out on a 5* with a list of demands.

This is pretty close to being accurate

Regardless of who started, Sheppard played more than Wagner or Edwards.....Sheppard averaged 29 minutes/game.  Wagner was at 26 and Edwards 21.  I would say it's more about game management not getting Sheppard shots.  Kid is a pure shooter.
