I went back and found some tidbits from him that I have missed in previous threads.  Makes sense why he's gone MIA in the mountains trying to locate where Montana State exactly is located.

Without going back and looking, the last I remember from him was his statement that he is a Mullins.

Then he gave it a Houdini and disappeared.

 

Edit: Ok, fine. I went back and looked. Last commented on 8/2 regarding Braylon's official to UConn.

during my 6 a.m. appointment with Coach Yasir Rosemond this morning, i was informed that we have extended an offer to Braylon Mullins, the 2025 guard out of Greenfield-Central High School. Mullins’ other current offers include Iowa, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech among others.

 

an unbelievably talented shooter, Mullins would make for great company alongside fellow incoming Hoosiers Gabe Cupps, Cooper Flagg, and Jordan Clarkson.

 

as for the likelihood of his commitment, i can’t be so sure..

Yas explained to me that although these Division 1 offers are enticing, his heart and lifelong fan-ship belongs to the Nordic Mustangs of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and that if they extend an offer, he may have no choice but to go D3.

 

anyways, i’ve got to rub Kenya Hunter down in balsamic dressing at 3:15, but i wanted to update the BTB faithful on what’s to come for this program..

That picture of Mullins on his official visit that Barrell added to that post was a picture that did not make it onto the internet or social media until a day or two later.

Yep,

That picture was one of the things that led me to believe Barrell really was related and/or connected. The Mullins family obviously wanted to keep things close to the vest so it didn’t surprise me, and many of us, that the family most likely told him to STFU.

When Barrell was “reporting” he stated that IU had it in the bag.  However…during Barrell’s reporting timeframe Hurley didn’t seem to be so ingrained/invested and I wouldn’t be shocked (based on nothing…LOL) if he goes to UCONN, or IU for that matter.

Hope we get him but who knows.

I'm impressed with the recruiting efforts. Hunter jumped in and made us legitimate contenders for Reibe when we lost Moreno and now we are a serious player for Grady after losing Haralson. I'm not sure who the primary is on his recruitment but I suspect it's Walsh. I think what I would say to Mullins about UConn is, "You're not going to be playing on either of the national championship teams there you'll be playing on a team that just recruited over your position." Stay home and be a legend. I'd love to see us land the best shooting class in the country.
