  1. We keep sending the whole staff to Mullins every chance we get.
  2. Our NIL will not be outdone.
  3. We are the home town school.
  4. We will be putting nationally competitive teams on the floor.

We are trying to counter Hurley's pitch of "Come play a key role on the two time national champion with the universally agreed-upon best coaching in the country."

There's no "more effort/let's fight harder" solution. It's Mullins' decision and it's clearly a tough one for an 17/18 year old to make.

More times than not if there's two schools that are neck and neck in a recruitment the home school wins out. Especially if family members want you at that school. Not saying that will happen here but it's something to think about.

If I were betting in Vegas with no odds given? I'd take Indiana in this one.

If I were betting in Vegas and got any odds inducement for UConn? I'd bet UConn.

  • 50% IU,
  • 45% UConn,
  • 5% UNC

These are my odds as well.

Di the Peegs interview state that Indiana is trailing UNC in this one?

Did Braylon Mullins tell a Peegs interviewer that Indiana is currently his third choice but he hasn't decided yet?

I find that hard to believe.

No, just my reaction to what he said about each program. Rabjohns asked him why each team made his final 3 and the only real advantage IU has is proximity to his home. He said he has a good relationship with each coaching staff. When it came to the offenses he said IU is changing how they run the offense. The other two can actually show him how he fits into their system that they have ran for years.

So if he had said "The IU fan base is crazy. You can’t beat that fan base. It’s very passionate. I think that’s the thing that sticks out the most. And obviously Coach Woodson is an NBA coach and that’s where I want to be” you'd feel better?

Because that's what Haralson said prior to his final decision.

These kids are constantly asked on the fly about their recruiting thoughts. They are 17 or 18, and are not calibrating their answers so that message board posters can get an accurate read on the tea leaves.

Like I said earlier if all you went by is this interview then that is how I see the order of the schools. Obviously there is way more into a recruitment than 1 interview and I never said that is how I see this recruitment ending
