Nice to see we're getting into a big November showcase event instead of playing Jackson State again.

playing Jackson St got us to keep XJ after the injury, though. I certainly hope we have a Hoosier Classic every year. Free games.

So this is happening November 19-20.

Last around that time we played @Xavier on November 18th and Miami(OH) on November 20th. So it seems we won't be having a Big East opponent. About time for the staff to be getting something done with at least one more team between this event and the Kansas game.

That isn't true. Maybe we won't... but this event doesn't mean we won't. I assume we won't be playing UCONN in the Gavitt games, though. Some Gavitt Games were on Nov 14th this past year. We could swing that.

I'm really just waiting to drop that garbage. Dropped the dead weight that was the Crossroads Classic and ACC/B1G Challenge. This is the last one left before Indiana has 100% schedule flexibility in the non conference. Where it needs to be when you have 21+ games already forced upon us.

Yeah, I didn't want to get rid of the Crossroads or the ACC challenge. To each their own.

I like playing in these preseason events but this could be bad or great for SOS Texas and UConn should be good to great next season. Regardless it provides and opportunity for us to be on the national stage and rebuild our brand. Hoping we get UConn/Texas and they both have excellent seasons.

With this event and Kansas we should get at least 2 good games. Is there another game with Arizona or was that a one off?

I don't believe Arizona is currently on the schedule.  The only games listed for sure so far at Inside The Hall are the Empire games and Kansas.

I'm pretty sure the AZ game was scheduled as a one time event, not a series like Kansas.

For some reason, I thought we were playing them in Indy next year. I might have been confusing it with the 3 year series that was discussed in the early Archie years but went by the wayside after Archie came here and started neutering the program.
