Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 Talia Goodman - Teri Moren said that Mackenzie was in practice but was pulled out early. Said she looks good, feels great and didn’t want to be pulled out. “By all accounts right now, she’s more than ready to be in the lineup tomorrow night and see playing time.” Notes that she’ll likely be limited. Moren says that the knee injury is something she’s been dealing with since before Indiana. She tweaked it this time, so it’s just about managing it now. “I would imagine that the combination of the excitement of being back on the floor and her lack of reps going up and down the floor will probably require us to take her out sooner.” Stuhoo 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Georgia up on Iowa under 3 left in the first half. Iowa had a player go down to injury in the 2Q. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
colonel06 Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Too bad Ga. choked with TO’s one after another in last 2 minutes. Obnoxious Clark moves on:( ellen.walden and mamasa 2 Quote
TTT Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Georgia players took a couple cheap shots towards Marshall and Clark in last few seconds. (and kind of a giggle, or laugh followed). I blame it totally on Georgia players lack of character and not Georgia coach. Totally uncalled for. up until that point it was a really good game to watch for both Georgia and Iowa. Quote

TTT Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 South Carolina is beatable and there was a stretch with Holmes at her best and IU being flexible in running and playing different tempo levels IU Ladies match up well with both South Carolina and LSU. I still think IU Ladies match up well with LSU and Holmes at her best vs South Carolina. First thing’s first vs Miami. ellen.walden 1 Quote

Lack of quality wins — no wins against ranked teams. Also followed up the OT loss to South Carolina by losing to them in the SEC tournament by 29. Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Looking forward to seeing that balanced, quick, poised team of shooting, rebounding, athleticism and savvy that is ready to run deep in March. This could be NC team, what a great group of women bigrod, ellen.walden and J34 3 Quote
