Something is amiss. The Illinois board is convinced that things are barreling downhill and they won't be winning many games, the Penn State fans are convinced that they are about to deviate back to their norm, and the Michigan State fans don't think their roster is talented enough to win on the road.

How can all these gloomsters be right?

I will give you this you are very consistent. Last 3 coaches I believe you have asked for them to step down on their own.   Crean under your previous name

I'm not sure I would reply to this if I was a player, even though the IU barstool account is a bunch of D-bags. But wish our players would just ignore it. Maybe they're messing around with each other and it's an inside joke.

Somebody is dropping the ball. Why would they respond or think it was ok . You would think there would be some kind of team policy .

We are in much worse shape right now than all of them. No defense to speak of. Especially no 3pt defense to speak of.

Because Miller Kopp has a man crush on that idiot, Dave Portnoy, and therefore thinks this is a place to push back with snarky responses on social media. Miller Kopp couldn’t be more wrong.

Coach Woodson has repeatedly said that he wishes his players would turn off social media completely. Instead of listening to Mike Woodson, who is irrefutably a class act, Miller Kopp decided to take cues from Dave Portnoy.

Well said. I think our players have a priorities issue. I think Woody is absolutely right. So why aren’t the players listening to Woody.

These kids don't get that. Honestly if I were a player, I'd probably have still been on ESPN, CBSSports and here and wherever. It'd probably hurt my feelers though to be shown reality so often.

"Nonsense." When is it not considered nonsense? So if we are 1-7 in 2 weeks, what will you say? How about 2-6? I'm hoping we are 5-3.. I just don't see that happening and this team hasn't shown anything that says it. This thread isn't for sunshine and rainbows. This team just isn't good right now. We play tomorrow night against Penn State. Can we win? Absolutely. Will we though? Eh. We suck at defending the 3 and they love shooting the 3. Not a great combo.

Spot on. Our players are great people and I'm sure great students but man it's so old how they act like they're the victim on social media. Anytime they lose there is always some type of tweet. Just stay away!! Keep working. Do you think Zeller, Oladipo, Hulls, etc read Peegs, Inside the Hall, or even Twitter after they got beat? No!! I bet if social media was around in the 70s/80s/90s the IU players then wouldn't pay attention. Terrible terrible leadership by a 5th year senior..
