But your timeline doesn't match Banks readiness for the big leagues. That isn't Woodsons fault. It's not a... "you just get to go out there and get your feet wet kind of thing".. possessions are too valuable.

It kinda is just getting out there and getting comfortable. These cupcake games would have been perfect and yet we still didn't get to see Banks or Gunn as much as we should have.

They played 31 minutes between them.  Gunn is the 10th man on a team and Banks is 11th.  Gunn has 86 minutes of court time for the year and Banks has 60 minutes.  What exactly do you think is typical of 10th and 11th players at this point of the season?  

The fact is that Gunn and Banks have more total minutes played than any other 10th and 11th player combo in the Big Ten:

Indiana:  146 minutes

Michigan State:  125 minutes

Minnesota:  121 minutes

Purdue:  115 minutes

Penn St:  114 minutes

Rutgers:  105 minutes

Nebraska:  101 minutes

Maryland:  92 minutes

Iowa:  89 minutes

Michigan:  77 minutes

Wisconsin:  68 minutes

Ohio State:  42 minutes

Illinois:  42 minutes

Northwestern:  34 minutes

I really don't care about the other teams. This team has a lot of questions and there hasn't been a search for any answers. Just do the same thing over and over and hope like hell it actually works. As of now, there is no reason to believe this team can or will finish in the top half of the B1G, and Woody is going to have a target on his back after.

Owls taking this one home with a depleted Indiana roster. It seems a lot of the Indiana faithful is scared. Hoosiers better hope TJD can play, we are a much better team than Elon IMO of course. We will not have one of our forwards in Alex Peterson tonight, sources tell me. All 5'10 of Burden is not afraid to get to the bucket and draw fouls. He gets knocked down a lot, getting foul calls because he's smaller. Not the best FT shooter, but can be a menace. Demond Robinson is a solid forward who is hard to move down low at 6'9 270. Youngblood had some very good offers coming out of HS, and is only getting better game after game. Jennings and Ademoyka are good 3 point shooters, Ademoyka being the better one (he is a transfer from Temple). You'll see more Cole LaRue tonight down low, can get hot instantly once he sees 1 or 2 go in. Spencer Rodgers who has started many games for KSU has kinda fallen off the wagon, and hasn't started every game. Look for a breakout game, it could start here.

But then again, it is a higher level conference where top talent goes where a backup can fill in quickly. A school/team like KSU in the ASUN, it will take longer for a player to develop.
