IUBB @ Rutgers - Saturday, 12/3/22 @ 4:00 on BTN

Tremendous amount of respect for Steve Pikiell and the way his teams play. As long as he is there I will always worry about playing Rutgers. That said it's about time to win in the RAC again. Big 1st game as starting 0-1 would suck.

Based off of Wednesday's presser it sounds very iffy for Mulcahy at best. This is now the time when I'm completely fine with catching a break on player availability. That said I expect a medical miracle to take place and Mulcahy will start Saturday.

They'd be better with Mulcahy, but there will be some rust with a pg that hasn't played in awhile even if he gives it a go.

Crean, I'd agree.  Would we have to worry about an emotional let down with Miller?  They'd probably be pretty down after UNC ran them out of the gym.

I was going to say something similar, now I don't have to.

Yeah, Rutgers has seemed to be pretty tough for us so I don't expect an easy ge especially not in NJ.

A medical miracle is probably what it would take, because I read a report that as of Wednesday, he hadn't even returned to practice yet.

If Crean or Archie were still in charge I'd be extremely worried about an emotional letdown in the team and getting waxed but I think Woody knows how to make sure that doesn't happen.  Keep it rollin' Hoosiers!

IU's social media page gave us a look into the locker room after the UNC win. He made it very clear to the team to stay humble and asked multiple times who they had next. I think even Trayce said on to the next one.

Geo Baker and Ron Harper Jr. always seemed to have the magic touch when they played IU....they are gone!!!

100% thank goodness. I know Baker was on the Field of 68 and said something like "nobody in the Big Ten is afraid of Indiana". That was true the last 5 years...not now. I don't think our guys took that comment lightly.

Probably true the better part of the last 20 years, but especially the last 5.

For sure. However, if it was a Michigan or Purdue player saying it I wouldn't mind. But Geo Baker won one NCAA tournament game at Rutgers..good for their sorry a** program. But nobody was afraid of Rutgers either lol.

Yeah, it's bad coming from Rutgers of all places.  Teams were probably more afraid of having to actually go to New Jersey than of playing Rutgers lol.
