Miller’s weave/dribble hand-off action has us in a pretzel. When they don’t run it, they don’t score. Just from what I’ve noticed.

Xavier cant keep up this pace.  50 % from three.  Hope they cant anyway

XJ is who he is at this point and whatever they've tried with him hasn't worked. Gotta take the good with the bad. I suspect there is more there than what we know. The aggressiveness by XJ halfway through the half changed the game. We need good XJ in the second half.

A lot of complaining about Race and Kopp but Geronimo and Bates looked unplayable in that half.  Either go with Race and Kopp or go further down the bench and see what Banks, Gunn, and Leal can bring.

Overall shots and free throws are identical for both teams, and we have one less turnover. 

 

Thought we'd be more dialed in on defense.

What about this idea: swap one of the guys in those pairings. Add a younger more athletic wing like Geronimo/Bates to the first group and a more mature slower paced Kopp to the second group. Most of the run Geronimo/Bates got was with two freshman and Trey Galloway on the floor. I’m not a fan of the five guys in five guys out first and second units. Mix and match it a bit. Find a combo that works.
