I have to agree with this.  The last few days doesn't wipe away the missed chances with this team.  Not showing up until half against Syracuse, leaving at half @ Wisconsin, losing 5 straight late in the year, crapping our khakis at home against Rutgers.  We should be looking in the mirror as much as pointing fingers; being one of the last ones in sucks, but not long ago this team didn't even deserve a seed.

The middle of the season doesn’t negate the end of the season. While those teams were bowing out IU was racking up a good win or two and improving their metrics. MSU had a big losing streak, too. It happens occasionally.  
 

Michigan is one thing, but Rutgers has a shoddy resume overall. Besides conference record, they have little over, IU.

Totally agree they should of but history tells you the committee doesn’t use these  Sunday games in seeding.   That’s why I kept Tenn a 3 and Iowa a 5 even though I personally would of moved them up.

Looking at the seeding, I have no idea what the committee sees as important.  They obviously don’t care about bad losses.  Or NET, their own metric.  Or efficiency.

Honestly, as they got to the fourth bracket and I knew what teams were left I was thinking they screwed us out of a bid altogether and we’re going to put Texas A and M in.

I’m glad we are in, but I still don’t think we were the last team in.  I think we should have been an 11th seed.

What we do is irrelevant.  What the players do is important.

He did stick up for IU a little. I think he enjoys crapping on the B1G for not winning championships, though.

We were next to last — Notre Dame was last.  They had to reseed the play ins since IU couldn’t play Rutgers and I think they didn’t want IU to have a rematch with Notre Dame.

Nope, we were 45 on the list.  Wyoming was 43 and Rutgers 44.  It’s listed earlier in this thread.

That is not what CBS showed!  Wyoming was last, Rutgers was Second to last, and I forget who was right behind us.
