I guess I am a bit torn on the decision. But you either have to go all in on the punishment or do nothing at all. Otherwise it’s just lip service and doesn’t mean much imo.

this certainly meant something, guess we will just see how ends up playing out because yes it’s a big risk given the state of the program

Cool, people are 'done with TJD'.
You should be done with Lander.  Finally was getting a chance to get minutes and ****ed it up.
Be done with X, who finally has a chance to be in the NCAA tournament and might have ****ed it up for everyone involved.
Be done with Parker Stewart who hasn't shown that he even really wants to be on the court.

There’s lots of players that I’m done with. Gutty performance by the kids that played tonight. However, super unfortunate that TJD didn’t dominate this game.

Nah…first year. Set the tone. Even if it means missing the tourney. If you don’t do it now you have no chance later.

The fact that we only had 6 scholarship players is what people are angry about. This program just can't get out of its own way and we're all really f*cking tired of it.

We're still comfortably in today. The talent level took a dive with 5 players being selfish but the problems that have cost us games all year were still there. Free throws, rebounding, leaving shooters wide open, etc.

Kind of wish we would have gone full Wiscy mode crawl up the court mode to save some legs but it was a throwaway game, plenty of built in excuses either way.

These clowns come out of the woodwork every time the team doesn't put out an A performance. The fact they're doing it on a night where only 6 scholarship players played shows their true colors. Must be a very sad existence.

Lord all mighty. Most these posters are solid fans. I hope I speak for everyone when I say suspended players just points out how pathetic this program is. Reality is we will never know the outcome with those guys but have enough evidence to suggest we may have lost regardless. Nobody is coming out of any woodwork we suck and have for years. Know body wants that to change more than every dang poster on this board and all over Hoosier nation I would think!

Bigger question. Can we have the type of program with integrity that we want in today's college game? Will the kids that we need to compete at the highest level play for a coach who holds then accountable? As much as I want a clean and respectable program, I'm not sure that is possible at the top of college basketball. I want to believe that it is but given what we see I'm not so sure. I don't want to see IU become just another cess pool just to compete. But, maybe that's the only way. If so, I might have to find something else to do.

This team sucks on the road. Period. They are horrid. So that's 4 losses likely. Probably lose to Wisconsin. Then it's down to Maryland and Rutgers. And well... We stink against Rutgers for whatever reason.

No.  If's a suspendable offense, it doesn't become less suspendable because more guys did it.

Nobody is done with him. I just think one of the IU greats would’ve stepped up. It’s NW. He’s bullied lesser teams all year. Nobody is asking him to outplay Cockburn tonight. Just disappointing he’s not progressed to that level. I felt the same way about zeller, and he was much better than TJD.   
 

You need those players to be a big time program.

Looked at three mock drafts. 2 didn’t have him drafted and other had him very last pick.

I completely agree with this point. The 5 guys out tonight cannot put their team in this position and deserve all the criticism for tonight's result. To pretend tonight was somehow on the 6 guys on the floor "no show'ing" is my primary point of contention. That's a completely unfair assessment.
