ok that may be true.  you do announce you can't watch anymore every time IU gets a big lead in a game. and that is why I point that out when I am here and it happens, and why other posters point it out when I am not here and it happens. nobody hates you for that. people just notice, and wonder things.

If Rob is down for an extended period, it has to be Bates to step up. Lander hasn't seen the floor due to rumored foot injury. Time for Bates to next man up and take Rob Phin's minutes until or if Rob can return.

I wouldn’t be opposed to Xavier, Trey and Bates being our guard rotation at this point.

He’s the rare guy that needs to dial it back a half notch to be effective. When he’s under control he brings a different element that none of our perimeter players have.

Or tripling, open looks behind the arc typically leads to 3 points for the opponent. Trayce had the help over the top, Bates didn't need to drop down too. We've had issues with that this season.
