The other day I posted updated Rivals rankings for the '25 class.  I misread the announcement and assumed it was both the '24 and '25 classes.  That update was '24 class only.  I've deleted my earlier post and below is the honest-to-God latest Rivals rankings on the '25 class.  I'll abide by any show cause or game suspensions you all see fit.  And just so you'll know, Cooper Flagg is #1 and Cameron Boozer is #2.

Perhaps I'm deluded, but when is the last time it looked highly likely we would sign at least one player in the top 10 ranking and quite possibly more than one?

Nothing is ever guranteed in recruiting but it's difficult for me to not be very optimistic about the 2024 class.

I'll add to the delusion but imagine a class of

1. NcNeeley

2. Fland

3. Newell

4. Harper

5. Flory

All top 10, perfect positionally 1-5. Whats scary is that I think there's a legitimate chance with each of them (ranked in order of my perceived likelihood) and the least likely has an official visit coming up right before he decides so you never know.  Obviously NIL money and probably minutes will run out so we can't get all 5 but what I like is that it seems all of them will decide in the next couple of months that way when we inevitably miss on a few we have good backup plans that are still ranked within the top 100. Not to mention players that aren't really in deciding mode or aren't leaning to any school, example someone like Bryson Tucker who probably has some kind of offer from every top program but still no indication where he'll go.

We could land none or we could land them all, truly doesn't matter, the next step is putting winning teams together but its very encouraging that this kind of talent is considering IU.

Those rankings aren't based on how good of college prospect you are necessarily, It's more about your NBA projection, so I think Sisley is that perfect example right now to demonstrate that.  He seems to project to be a very good college basketball player.

I think Peterson is incredible and deserving of that 3 spot. 
 

That being said, get the in state kids in this class in Haralson and Sisley.  Then add a guard and a big.  I feel like Maleek Thomas is our best shot at a 5 star not from Indiana.  Who knows about the big.  We’d like Moreno it seems but so does the rest of the Midwest.  Then obviously Kiyan Anthony seems like a player we’d have a VERY good shot with who seems to be a little bit positionally where Sisley would project.

That  would be almost ideal although I'm not sure I want 5 freshman.  Seems like the ship has sailed for Mustaf, Passmore, Perry.  I don't love Betsey, but if we don't get McNeeley i might.  lol.  Givens would be a nice alternative for Fland.
