Yeah, 90% of this is dunks. And it’s edited in a way that gave this old man a bit of a headache. But, there just aren’t a lot of kids like this. Carr’s explosiveness is simply ridiculous. Also, I don’t believe he turns 17 until the summer. So, he’d play his entire freshman year at 18, the same as Jakai Newton.

I want this kid too. He too me seems like Jakai. It was said in the Joey Hart thread that he didn’t have that “dog” mentality. This kid and Jakai do, not scared of anyone at any time. There were half of those dunks that when he took off I was thinking, he ain’t dunking that, and then BAM! He doesn’t go soft to the hole!

I did see in the hoosiersportsnation forum, there is a poster who is a student. He said when Coen wakes by they chanted “we want Coen” and he said he appeared to love it. Also mentioned that Cupps was there with him. So nothing official but sounds like an impression was made.

Alec Lasley with a recap of Carr's visit is behind the paywall but this is from the 'teaser'  --  In conference play, Carr averaged 14.1 points (10th in NIBC), 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game (4th). He shot 53 percent from the field (4th), 72 percent from the free throw line and 26 percent from three (5-of-19).

From an On The Radar event yesterday -

Coen Carr – Georgia Stars – 2023

If one were to argue that Carr was not the most productive player of the weekend it would be a losing argument. The left-handed wing got it done on both ends of the court. He has a motor that always runs high. Add in the fact that he can score the ball in several ways, and it is easy to see why there is plenty of buzz around Carr coming out of the weekend. He finished with 29 points in a Sunday win over AE5 Basketball. He did it with 3-pointers, transition dunks, and acrobatic finishes in the lane. He visited Indiana at the beginning of this month.
