Are you suggesting that both Wright and Drew are 39-49 years old?  Not clear on what you meant but if so, Jay Wright is 59 years old.

These are the records of those coaches when they were those ages. I am saying that Scott Drew, from when he was 39-49 years old, is similar to Jay Wright when he was that age.

I just want people to be less pessimistic about Drew, from a numbers perspective, because Jay Wright took off in his 50s after he "figured things out." I believe that the last two years are showing signs of Drew "figuring things out."

I think it comes from the Perea thing. But let’s be honest his assistant said the deportation threat. Drew should have fired him but didn’t. Not firing him was his crime. People need to get over it.  No college coach has that authority and it was an empty threat.

Based on what? One Hanner Perea story in which we don’t have the actual receipts?

Has anyone heard or seen how high major college basketball recruiting works?

It’s dirty folks, hate to break it to ya.

Some of your favorite coaches have runners doing things that would shock you.

Also, he was clearly trying to do IU a favor. Perea was terrible

What do we offer Drew? It's tough for me to say without knowing his salary but I'd say $6M would get him if $ matters to him

Not my money but I’d offer him $6 million, maybe $7 million. Basically, I wouldn’t let money be the reason he turns us down.

This thread should be much longer, yet we entertain Lewis, Fife, 68 yo Beilein, Matta (who know ones what to expect from), 4.7 million Beard, Woodson, and countless others.

What kind of reality do I live in?

Because Scott Drew has the 4th ranked recruiting class next year. He isn't leaving that for IU unfortunately.
