Better chance of Cronin getting a reduced buyout from UCLA than Brad Stevens coaching at IU.

But tell me something I don't know?

Stick to trolling... something you are good at

What about “in situ”, my hope is that would have been more appropriate…/

I would lean this way as well, but I may be considered a troll for not confidently assuming Stevens will be at IU.

Unless he specially has language about conference affiliation I highly, highly, highly doubt that anything has changed.

How? The stipulations in the contract he signed have drastically changed. He could argue that he would have resigned on the spot had he known UCLA was moving to the B10 and he'd be away from home for a week at a time every other week.

Got a chance to catch up at work and it’s ten pages of arguing whether or not Cronin could sue UCLA so IU could pay less to hire him. This place is amazing lmfao
True but at least they aren't talking about the three mid major flavors of the month

Unless you have

A: a law degree
B: read the entire contract

You are just talking out of your tuchus

He absolutely has leverage. The contract stipulations he signed 3 years ago have either a) drastically changed or b) no longer exist.

You clearly don’t understand how contracts work. There has to be something to adjudicate for the court to even look at the contract. He can threaten UCLA all he wants, they are going to laugh at him because their lawyers know he can’t take it to court.

So you think there’s some magic loophole where UCLA forgot to include the possibility of switching conferences?

I have great news for you! His contract is publicly available here: https://ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/7d/fa/56435b2f41b28b5f3575b651cf8b/micks-2022-contract.pdf

It amazes me how posters get attacked for posting anything that would be counter to what posters who believe it is BS are saying just because it goes against their beliefs. Many of the same posters who do this are the sames who whine when people attack them.

I don't think anyone should be attacking anyone who has a different message than what they believe. Unfortunately,  that is the world we live in nowadays. What ever happened to respect?

It died right next to civility.
