Hornsby Posted March 14 Posted March 14 IMO I'm very skeptical there is legitimate interest from Iowa in DeVries. I think his agent likes his name tagged to open roles so he can get more out of WVU. Maybe he really does want to come home though, despite the financial struggles. Even if that is the case, I don't see Iowa making that kind of investment in men's basketball. They are in a great position to take a bet on a high upside, low cost coach who could be there for 20+ years. IMO he is their #1 choice and he will be officially announced shortly after their tournament ends.If mccollum is as great as some of you claim he is why in the world would iowa pick Devries over him.
