There goes Happy, heading for the cash machine! Oh yeah, he's gonna get himself another linebacker! That guy's got the best players money can buy!

Can you imagine what Neon
would've done

1:33:03

if we had tried to give him a Ferrari?

1:33:06

l mean. for chrissake.
he might've scored 40 or 50 points.

1:33:11

l mean. who knows. Who knows
what he would've done for a Ferrari.

1:33:17

Now. you know. Neon.

1:33:19

he didn't take anything.
He didn't want anything.

1:33:22

But some of the others did.
didn't they. Happy?

1:33:25

Wasn't there some of the other kids?
What did we give them?

1:33:28

What. cars? Tractors?
Gave a kid a tractor?

1:33:33

Another kid we gave a house.
Didn't we give him a house?

My scoop for the morning.

Look for Cupps to be a transfer citing lack of structure at IU from coaching staff. (He won’t cite that but that will be the reason)

I am not Cupps biggest fan, that’s for sure, but I’d imagine McNeely’s family citing much the same things.

For the love of all things, this is ugly.

Even if you’re down on him, that would be a blow considering he’d still be a solid backup pg next year even if we brought in a good portal pg , and we really struggled to land depth pieces at guard.

My favorite player in the portal so far. Smart. Good shooter. Really clever finishing around the rim. Takes care of the ball. Defends.  Watched him have a really good game against Mo St. Played for Casey Alexander, who’s a terrific coach. Plus, has 2 years left.

I hope not. He was not very good this year, but neither was Trey Galloway as a freshman. We need to be able to develop kids like him into contributors as upperclassmen.

Malik Mack (Harvard) has made Trilly’s portal watch list.

Since we are hiring a GM I’ll go ahead and shoot my shot for the gig:

Forcefully removed from team (in order): Gunn, Banks

Offers out today. BC = Blank Check:

Malik Mack (BC) https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/5175952/malik-mack

Javon Small (BC) https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4781746/javon-small

Jalen Blackmon https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/gamelog/_/id/4683853/jalen-blackmon

Bruce Thornton (BC) https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/5105837/bruce-thornton

Xavier Booker (BC) https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4711304/xavier-booker

Dylan Caldwell https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/gamelog/_/id/4433174/dylan-cardwell

Malik Dia  https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4712862/malik-dia

If AJ Storr enters the portal a check will be sent unfilled and signed. A picture of a car lot will be included and 50 page packet of businesses I will pair him with the moment he signs

A blank check for Booker? lol

On second thought, wasting a ton of money on a player like that would be a good way to ensure Woodson gets canned after (or during) next season.

There might be a downside somewhere, but I'm not seeing it.

Nevermind, found it, Booker does well and ensures a Woodson extension.

If Storr leaves and doesn’t end up in Champaign I’ll be floored. A natural fill-in for TSJ (different games, but the production is similar enough) an hour from his hometown, but he’ll have some gigantic offers.

Deon Perry, 5'8" guard from Loyala-Maryland.  17.3 pts, 2.9 ast, 2.6 reb.  38/38/91 shooter the past two years.  Bulk three point shooter, making 153 of 402 over 62 games the past two years.

That 5'8" size scares me a little when it comes to playing the bigger guards in the B10
