I also don't feel comfortable with only having--- Sparks, MR, and KW that are true big guys. I do think Banks can play some 4, but we needed another guy. All good. I like it more than DeLoach, who I like as a player but doesn’t fit IU’s roster very well. He can also credibly guard on the wing. The shot hasn’t been good but if he’d hit ~3 more 3s per year he’d be a ~30% shooter and suddenly he looks like a decent option at the 3. thebigweave and CSP 2 Quote

An experienced, well-coached, low usage kid who understands his role as a depth piece for a year would be a really useful get. lillurk, Stuhoo, CSP and 4 others 7 Quote

Oh I don't think he's a 3 at all, but I do think you're right that he has some switchability defensively, no doubt. lillurk 1 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 He averaged 2.8 ppg on a Miami team that was thin in the frontcourt… We need impact guards and wings. He’s neither of those things. Very odd recruiting direction. Jeff Flabjohns, Scotty R, Chris007 and 2 others 2 1 2 Quote

Yes, and he even offers a couple of skills that the rest of the guys at the 4/5 spots don't. Ability to break you down off the dribble and better perimeter defending. I like this a lot if we can get him to commit. Jeff Flabjohns, Demo and jonz44 3 Quote

WRSMick55 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 From Dailyhoosier.com twitter article For his career Walker has averaged 15 minutes per game and 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per 40. Walker is a career 42 percent shooter overall, including 51 percent from two and 21 percent from three. He shoots 66 percent from the free throw line. Quote

So, he isn't a good option to have for depth/plat at most 10mins ish a game? Especially when you factor in he will only be here one year? That's all I care about here. Quote
