This is another huge get for Woody! Yep We can’t replace TJD but this was literally our best option Woodson knocked it out of the park. A few more pieces and we can be right back in the hunt. monskisprodigy Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 If Woody gets him to the league he can sell what he did for TJD and Ware to every big man recruit forever. Although I’d love him to stick around awhile haha. Huge get for the staff and awesome news on a Monday. NVFalcons1990 and BannerVille 2 Quote

Home Jersey Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 I'm ecstatic about adding Ware. This height and length is something I haven't seen on an Indiana team in my time following the program, I don't think (loosely in the DJ White era and more closely in the Zeller/Dipo era). XJ - 6'3 TG - 6'4 Ledlum - 6'6 Reneau - 6'9 Ware - 7' Could add Knecht and Banks and CJ Gunn, three more 6'6 guys. If we play the perimeter-centric offense many anticipate Woody prefers next season, I wouldn't be surprised if our rebounding is actually improved a bit. More threes/perimeter shots could lead to longer rebounds and if we're active without the ball could see us getting our fair share of second chance opportunities. I think/hope Reneau takes a big jump next year on his rebounding numbers. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

MemphisHoosier Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Ant Wright can be a bit polarizing with his approach, but generally provides really solid analysis. He has had high praise for CMW recently. J34, lillurk, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 6 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Marcus Dumask (Southern Illinois) committed to Illinois. Decent pick up. First team All-MVC last year. Averaged 16.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.8 apg. 6'6" small forward. On3 lists him as the 77th best portal player. 247 hasn't rated him yet (they seem to miss some of the portal guys) but describe him as a very skilled offensive player but limited athlete. Good passer and cutter. Said he was a lot like Sam Griesel but better three point shooter (35% from three last year for Dumask). Quote
