He'd be a three year take. It's an interesting stat line - got a lot of minutes on a pretty good team and he is clearly talented, but volatile. That's a lot of assists for a 6'8" freshman playing 23mpg.

Good assist to turnover ratio as well.  Looks more like a project than a guy to step in.

So a three year guy that wants to get out as soon as possible. That's not optimum.

Or maybe we sell him on playing here a year, building draft stock alongside XJ, Ware, etc. and then opening the scholly back up for the potential big '24 class.

This one’s good for a laugh: NC St’s Isaiah Miranda enters the portal. Talented 7’1” kid who was a top 50ish ‘23. Was a multi-school kid who a lot of programs looked at but very few offered. Committed to NC St and re-classed to great fanfare, enrolled at mid-season, and then never played a single second. Now he’s out the door. Keats did that one to himself.

Now the kid is going through the draft process despite not playing a minute of college basketball. Definitely odd he couldn't earn a single minute, even in garbage time for them.

Torvik ratings top shooting guards/wings currently in the portal:

14.  Everyone's all-american Luke Brown, Stetson, 6'1" combo guard.  10.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 1.6 apg.  Shot 47% from three.

In March he announced he was transferring to Indiana Wesleyan.  Has he already reneged on another school or is he still showing up in the portal because he's dropping down to the NAIA level?  Inquiring minds who really don't care all that much want to know.

Not sure — haven’t seen anything about him decommitting from Indiana Wesleyan but Torvik still lists him in the portal.  Probably an oversight.

Dingle looks great in his NBA workout videos.  Man..imagine getting dingle and McKenzie. I could see us being better than last year...

I really really hope so, but it’s hard for me to see. If we were so lucky then we start having PT discussions as Gunn, Cupps Banks would then be in the 9,10,11 spots for PT.

I think Leal likely stays 13 and Newton 12.

Would be a crazy lineup on paper. Crazy.
