Would almost guarantee that IU hasn't been active in the Phillips recruitment since Mgbako committed.  Phillips went into the portal on May 10th.  Mgbako committed to IU on the 12th and it wasn't until the 12th that IU knew he was going to commit.  I assume IU made contact on the 10th or 11th as a backup plan.

Grad transfer Tyler Burton (Richmond) in the portal.  6’7” small forward averaged 19 points and 7+ rebounds per game.  Only shot 29% from three last year but shot 36% the year before.  Second team all A-10.

Trilly saying dead period ends at midnight and some visits are scheduled accordingly. Also that UConn is one of those 3 visits for Spencer.

Earlier in the month Ole Miss was said to be a potential landing spot but since the NCAA denied his first waiver attempt it’s died down.

It is possible that could be the case but that’s his only way to transfer at this point.

He could still transfer if he was willing to sit out a year so technically, that isn't  the only way to transfer since the portal closed.
