Don’t think he’s gonna excel at a program with a lot of eyes.   Unless that program is winning all season long.

I'd be lying if I said I was shocked. Maybe a little bit, but only that he still has eligibility, not that he's going into the portal.

Nice numbers for 25mins/gm in the Big 12. His highlight clips have top tier “holy $hit” elements to them because his movement skills are exceptional. But I’m gonna guess that if you actually watch him play he gets physically handled pretty good.

Awesome bit of info!

If Carr's son transfers to IU and we get a true top tier catch and shoot guy for two years? That would be so so good.

Explains how Carr came across Taelon Peter last year. That was such a wildly random draft pick and he’s got a chance to stick. Tell you what: if Carr’s kid him tipped him off on Peter they need to hire him because that kid has an eye.

Ha, true.  Austin was around some good players as a manager at Westfield as well - Braden Smith, Cam Haffner, Trey Buchanan (Chad’s kid).
My guess is Ryan has been friends with Ritchie McKay or developed a relationship with the staff once Austin became a manager there and is pretty in tune with the program.

Will be curious if Austin transfers to IU to follow his Dad’s footsteps.
