My Tier 1 season ticket cost was $496 last year for 8 games so $62/game and my premium parking pass was $160 so $20/game.  My renewal ticket price for 2025 is $476 for 7 games or $68/game and parking pass is $175 so $25/game.  So, an increase of 10% and 25% for tickets and parking, respectively.

Thanks.  I wasn’t very clear, I was talking number of season ticket holders increasing, not the price of the tickets.

I am just one data point but those percentages are inflated based on my renewal pricing.

Yes they are lol. My tier (I think tier 3?) nearly doubled based on the numbers when I renewed.

Wow! Still a good bargain based on secondary market pricing experience last year but still surprised at the disparity between tier levels. One would think it would be the other way around?

Upon doing the maths, 65% increase for me. Tickets + parking last year I paid $520. Renewed this year for $860. A lot of that increase was parking, in fairness…$80 > $175 so the ticket price wasn’t as big of an increase as I thought.

Not complaining, but a bit of sticker shock this year. Still well worth it.

Appreciate you sharing specifics but I am still confused.  At $520 for both tickets & parking last year you paid $55/game ticket and $10/game parking.  At $860 for both tickets and parking next year, with $175 of the $860 being parking ($25/game) that leaves $685 for 7 games and that converts to $97.86/game.  I am not trying to be argumentative but that just doesn't "foot" as my accountant wife would say.  LOL

Which part? The ticket number is my total for 2 if that’s the issue. So per seat last year was $220/$27.50 a game, this year is $383/$49 a game.

If my increase is the issue, I just suck at mathin. Also I said tier 3 earlier, I’m actually in tier 4.

The Daily Hoosier -

In a release, IU football says they have welcomed 31 newcomers to campus to start the spring semester, which includes 17 transfers and 14 freshmen who will join the program for spring ball.

I like it that that many of the freshmen will be there for spring practice. That's like 2/3 of the incoming FR class?

Haines is interviewing at PSU. That will plain piss me off and move those diddling turds above Michigan on my IUFB hate list.

I was hoping our new large staff budget would prevent this.  He is making about $1.9M here.  But we'll see what happens.
