14 CBB head coaches were hired 3 seasons ago. Only 3 of them have improved their team's KenPom rating across all 3 seasons. Archie Miller, Anthony Grant, and Brad Underwood

Mike Hopkins as well. Which proves nothing.

IU basketball is just a crap product right now and there are zero reasons to think that changes over the next 2-3 years.

We only shot 10 free throws last night.  Personally, I can't blame that on officiating.  How can we fix that?  Let's ask the millionaire savant in charge:

He was trying to be cute and infer that it was due to the officiating. I agree there was no reasoning behind what got called and what didn't, but that is almost every game in the B1G. We didn't get calls because of the way we were playing.

Poor strategy to begin with. Not going to win consistently on the road with this as your mantra. Pretty simple.

Last night went exactly how I thought. Expect a major beat down Saturday. I expect a tough close loss at home to a gritty pursue team with nothing to lose. Then a collapse against Iowa to complete what we all feared would happen. Then we will have last year and this year to look back on so we can wait for the collapse the following year.

We weren’t getting the calls agai st Maryland at home. Part of it is Archie working the refs.

A big part of it is having a system dependent on officiating in a league with the worst officiating.

Spoke to someone last night who said he talked to both Green and De’Ron at the Pacers-Lakers game a month ago and asked the guys what they thought of Archie and he said neither of them were fans. How true this is, I don’t know, but it definitely seems like Green has quit playing. He used to be our best on the ball defender and now he seemingly lets his guy go right past him to the basket like clockwork. I’m at the point where I’d like to see Green benched or dismissed and heck, give some of this minutes to Cooper Bybee. At least he kid will play hard and can shoot. May be a huge liability on defense but he could also be the sparkplug this team needs so this season doesn’t go down the toilet.

He'd end up throwing the dirt at their feet and someone else would steal it.

But it’s an IU negativity thread. Where we come to complain about Indiana basketball. It has its own thread for a reason. We have a lot to complain about. As for all of college basketball, it will clearly be talked about in the thread titled “college basketball” because that’s where it goes. Because it’s about college basketball. No reason to clutter a thread specifically about Indiana with things not about Indiana. We’ve earned this negativity thread for IU basketball. It won’t be taken away or changed. William Wallace said they couldn’t take our freedom.

Thread title doesn’t say IU negativity thread it says negativity thread. I guess you are just assuming it’s an IU only negativity thread
