If either or both are part of the 36 locks, it adds another spot or two for those stuck in the bubble from hell. Prevailing thought last night was SDSU and New Mexico were playing for a tournament bid, and SDSU won. I'm not real confident that a bid-stealer here at the end wouldn't knock them back out, though. VCU I'm a little more confident is in. Quote

At least one of them is probably not locked in and maybe neither are. VCU doesn’t have a win against the projected field and their WAB is right at 42. San Diego St has 1 win against the projected field and has a WAB 45. Both are right on the line cybergates 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Another empty Indiana Selection Sunday. Definitely lessens the joy of the tournament Another tournament of rooting against teams instead of for teams. Always root for the underdogs but I think this year will be especially tough for them. Uspshoosier Posted Sunday at 04:37 PM Author Posted Sunday at 04:37 PM Committee definitely needs a contingency bracket today. VCU is right on the cut line. If they win they will get the auto bid and can’t play in Dayton so if they were in the last 4 in then they will have to move a team down into the First 4. If they lose does the committee move them all the way out or leave them in the First 4. 3 A-10 teams? Quote

Also, if Penn beats Yale I'm probably flipping a 12/13 seed too. The Wichita/USF final is gonna end to late to change seeds. Uspshoosier 1 Quote

Only 1 game over .500 and 16 losses. I don’t see them setting a precedent of including a team like that IUHoosierJoe 1 Quote

Who knows with the committee. I didn’t think there was anyway West Virginia would get left out but they did. Always 1 team the committee adds just to add to throw us off. lol IUHoosierJoe 1 Quote
