Given that Wesley isn’t a very physical kid that actually strikes me as a really good pure basketball fit with all 5 out they run and all of the 3’s they generate. I like it.

I've been told that they are friendly but I'm not under the impression that there is some kind of package deal being shopped around or anything like that.

If he has to say that about our offense, which I actually do agree with him about, then I don’t see him coming here without seeing the new style Archie is implementing. I am more concerned with Bruiser going to UK and pulling Mohammed from us.

Let's face it, if Kentucky wanted to start recruiting Mohammed they could have done that at any time irrespective of Bruiser.  I wouldn't worry about that.

Idk how I feel about this one.  I like Mohammed better without a doubt. Wesley is a good player though.  Missing or getting Wesley won’t make a big impact on me.  
 

We have Lander.  We have Rob for 2 years. I like Galloway and Leal pretty well. 
 

I don’t mind him ripping on our offense because I think he’s partly right.  Doesn’t mean it needs to look like an AAU game however.  Hoping, adding skill and shot makers opens things up and Archie’s visions start looking better on the O end.

It must be a hot mess at South Bend Riley HS.  The Wildcats have had four coaches the past four seasons with last year's coach and a former Riley high school star, Andre Owens, resigning for personal reasons.   I know we've got some South Bend area posters so hopefully they can shed some light on why all the turnover.

Short answer, because the entire South Bend school corporation is a mess. The city is a mess but I'll stop there because this need not turn political.

Wesley's mom, who was a school board member, was instrumental in the removal of the first coach, Mark Johnson. He was successful and had been there for years. The following coach came from LaLu and that relationship wasn't going to last. I know Andre Owens, and him stating personal reasons is about as gracious as can be. The behind the scenes  politics at South Bend School Corp is ridiculous. Their latest and greatest fiasco was eliminating the AD position at each school and replacing it with a "Dean of Students and Athletics" position. A position that requires an administrative license.  I could go on but by now I think you get the gist.
