Alford Bailey Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 It stinks. Especially Rob. Good news is Franklin gets minutes. Quote
Chris007 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 If Rob hasn't practiced in 29 days, what kind of shape is he going to be in by the first game? Seems to me he's a long way off. Also his injury just doesn't seem right to me. Something seems fishy. Alford Bailey, lillurk, ElectricBoogaloo and 1 other 4 Quote

But RP is arguably the most important piece of this team. If this has been ongoing for a month or more and is not resolved, that sounds like a major red flag. The lack of information about the condition of injured players these days is maddening for a fan standpoint. And I am fully aware of the legal restrictions....but still! Alford Bailey 1 Quote
ap2345 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 This is me speculating based on it being an abdominal injury for Rob. He has either a hernia or he got a case of mono. Those are the first two issues that came to mind. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mdn82 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners We don't know that its a major injury (although being out for the whole month of october doesn't bode well). I'll be concerned if he misses more than a couple of the early season games... Quote

I'm not a doctor but have stayed at a Holiday InnCould be a sports hernia, which is more of an abdominal wall fascia/muscle injury without any bowel poking through. This usual takes 4-6 of rest to recover. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app GloryDays, ElectricBoogaloo, thebigweave and 4 others 5 2 Quote
ap2345 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I suspect Rob will be back within a week or two. The bright side is that Franklin will get plenty of time tonight and possibly the first game or two. Could just help going forward getting him some experience.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Brass Cannon Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 We shouldn’t need Rob the first 7 games so let’s just get him healthy. Str8Hoosiers 1 Quote
