Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I thought this was a home game. Why is Sparty shooting 60% from the field and we're shooting 34.5%? Is Smith auditioning for his next school? We do have 8 assists on 10 made shots so there is that -- yeah, I know it's a small +. colonel06 1 Quote
Honkyman Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I hope Romero Langford enjoys playing in the D League next year because he isn't good enough to play in the NBA. You have to be able shoot when you playing shooting guard in the NBA. A.j. Nigh and Btownclouds 2 Quote

Doesn’t even look like he wants to play. If he’s not going to demand the ball on offense or play hard on defense take him out. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners While true, I think he's been running on fumes the last few games - a season of being undersized, carrying the load and getting pounded by bigger players has taken a toll on him. Kinda perplexed that Race got almost zero minutes with Davis unable to contribute and Morgan floundering. HoosierDYT 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Bad half of basketball outside of Smith’s offensive explosion. Have we not figured out they’re killing us on that pick and roll? We need Romeo shading the paint and the other defender play a 1v2. We don’t really seem into the game. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners DChoosier, fwgreenway, Btownclouds and 1 other 4 Quote

He won’t ever be a star, but he can be a good starter or 6th man. He really needs to get some more moves to the bucket and work on his shot HoosierDYT and mamasa 2 Quote

Old Friend Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Why can Michigan State get layup after layup and execute an offense that produces good shots on a consistent basis and we....can't? I hate our offense. This is a recording. Btownclouds and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote
VO5 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Biggest difference in this game is Winston. It’s amazing what a great PG does for you. I look at top teams around the country and all of them have top notch point guards. I’m hopeful Rob can become one of those, but he’s lacking that IT factor that I see in other PGs. pumpfake and HoosierDYT 1 1 Quote

fwgreenway Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 MSU looks like a team that knows they got out played the first meeting and they have much better execution. IU looks.....well like they can't execute at either end of the court. Quote
