Juwan Morgan had 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks in Michigan's destruction of Indiana.

He now surpasses Cody Zeller, and with his 1,159 points moves into the 39th best scorer in Indiana University men's basketball history.

Guys on this list that did not accomplish much with regards to team success just don’t really excite me. Not fair really I know but I really wish Morgan could have been on some teams that had some tournament success.

With 12 guaranteed games left, if Juwan stays healthy and maintains his scoring average, that'd put him at 1,357 career points. Good for T-25th all-time. Very cool!

 Juwan scored 15 points against Rutgers, bringing his total to 1,174 career points.  He is 20 points away from passing Quinn Buckner.

Juwan left early due to injury, only playing 13 minutes.  He scored 5 points, grabbed 6 boards, and handed out two assists before his departure bringing his point total to 1,179 career points.  He is now 15 points away from surpassing Quinn Buckner on the all-time scoring list.  

Let's hope he's able to contribute going forward.  My guess is he'll be out Thursday regardless, unless it was something very minor.  They won't want to rush him back and take a chance on aggravating an injury to a shoulder that has already gone through some very tough times.  I noticed going into the locker room at the end of the game his left shoulder was hanging low.  Hoping for the best.

Juwan Morgan scored 17 points in only 22 minutes of action bringing his career point total to 1,196, which is good enough to surpass Quinn Buckner and move to 38th on Indiana's all-time scoring list.  He needs only 8 points to surpass Jeffrey Newton and move into the 37th slot.

Juwan had 14 rebounds, but he managed to score only 3 points tonight against Ohio State.  His total is now 1,199 points.  He needs 5 points to move past Jeffrey Newton.

Watched this one late and wish I had not watched it at all.  Morgan scored 14 points and passed Jeffrey Newton.  He now has 1,213 career points, leaving him 4 points shy of Tom Coverdale and 8 points away from passing Steve Downing and moving into the top 35 all-time scorers at Indiana.

Morgan scores 9 points and grabs 11 rebounds. He passes Tom Coverdale and Steve Downing to move into 35th all time with 1,222 points.

With that said, Morgan finished with 15 points bringing his total to 1,237 career points.  This leaves him 3 points shy of Dick Van Arsdale.

Morgan fouled out tonight with 9 points and 15 rebounds, which sandwiches him between the Van Arsdale brothers at 34th all time.  He is now 6 points from Tom Van Arsdale.

If my memory serves me well, which it often doesn't these days, the only list I found for rebounds was top 10 (or maybe top 25) and he wasn't on pace to reach that list.  I may be wrong though.  I had to go through and count his rebounds for each season and then search for a tops list.  I'm pretty sure I only found the top 10.  I'm sure there's a longer list someplace.

 

EDIT:

I looked this up again and realized I was wrong.  He has to be on the record books for rebounding.  At this point in his career, Juwan Morgan has 704 rebounds to his credit.  So, he's not too far off from top ten in rebounding.  Thanks for making me recheck my math and to look into this again.

I thought D.J. White would be near to this list, but I had forgotten he was only able to play 5 games his sophomore year.  He only had 547 rebounds.  I'm not sure who would be between Brian Evans at 750 and Juwan Morgan at 704.

Juwan Morgan scored only 7 points, but snagged 11 rebounds in Indiana's upset win over Michigan State. 

This leaves Juwan at 1,253 career points and moves him in front of Tom Van Arsdale for 33rd on Indiana basketball's all-time scoring list.  He is 4 points shy of moving into 32nd with James Blackmon, Jr and only 19 points shy of breaking into the top 30.

The 11 boards tonight brings his career rebounding total to 715, which is just 35 rebounds shy of entering Indiana's top ten all-time career leaders in rebounds.  With 35 more rebounds on the season, he would tie Brian Evans for the 10th best career mark with 750 rebounds.
