I like that he's having a strong year and improved his shooting.  I'm just not sure if he'd be ready for big minutes his first year, like the commit though.

I like that he's having a strong year and improved his shooting.  I'm just not sure if he'd be ready for big minutes his first year, like the commit though.

I mean rankings only mean so much but he is ranked lower than anderson was and anderson is nowhere near ready for the big ten.

I've read it mentioned by people, including CAM, the team has lost confidence. How does that happen. They have played this game at a high level their entire lives. I never had talent but I never lacked confidence. Losing only pissed me off, and I mean really pissed me off. To the point I wanted to fight somebody!

To me, the team lost momentum when Phinisee went down.  We've played a lot slower; and we just don't execute well enough to "x and o" with good teams.   We're better when we play faster; and when we slow down, we're Godawful.   Opening things up may give them a boost, simply because there's not as much brain involved.  It looks like paralysis by analysis to me.

Brooks can shoot from behind the arc and so can Hunter.  If Brooks commits we are out of schollys.  That is based on what we know right here, right now.

I get the feeling have a few extra grants in the spring wont be an issue.

I've read it mentioned by people, including CAM, the team has lost confidence. How does that happen. They have played this game at a high level their entire lives. I never had talent but I never lacked confidence. Losing only pissed me off, and I mean really pissed me off. To the point I wanted to fight somebody! 

I’m of the same mindset re: being pissed off about losing; however, confidence can come and go. I never played basketball at a high level but was a decent golfer who played in some tournaments. Man, there’s nothing worse than not being able to control your direction to one side. That’s an individual sport where I didn’t have to rely on anyone. It’s exponentially more difficult when you make the right play but the guy beside you screws up. The next time it happens are you confident he’ll make the right read? I wouldn’t be. That’s where this team is, several guys making the right rotation with one completely out of place. It takes time and in some situations dumping the dead weight.
