I'll admit that I refuse to watch IU football but I do follow the game threads.  Even to me, someone who is far from an expert, I can't understand the number of times that we need 9 yards and we throw a 7-yard pass, etc.  It's blatantly clear to me that this tactic has failed on so many occasions but I can't fathom why Coach Allen hasn't given DeBord a kick in the a$$ and told him his play calling sucked.

I’m not so sure he really thinks it does Old Fart

Probably the only positive of today's game:  Stevie Scott has broken Anthony Thompson's IU freshman record with his 6th 100-yard rushing game. He has 104 yards on 20 carries today.

Speaking of him ... When I was in school (or right before I got there), we recruited Dave Schnell and AT, who were in the top 5 nationally at their positions. They were guys just about any school in the country would've been happy to have. When is the last time we had recruits like that? It seems every time we get a commit, it was between us and a MAC or C-USA or AAC or even a top-notch FCS school.

We are vanilla, undisciplined, and soft.  It's getting very, very old.  Someone.  ANYone...make a damned play.  We have to throw screen passes against long yardage because our QB can't throw it down the field today.  We get roughing the passer penalties.  Chop blocks.  Personal fouls.  Undisciplined garbage.  This team frustrates me SO much.  I know it's not all Ramsey...   Allen needs to really be taken to task after this season.  His team looks horrible.

Honestly it’s IU football. We don’t have the money to spend 5 million on a coach and no coach wants this job.

We have to get lucky and get the right up and comer. But realistically that guy will leave if he can prove himself.

That’s why I root for Allen. He would stay no matter what success he has.

Rooting for IUFB is an exercise in futility but I know that going in so i can still enjoy myself.

To be fair, AT did not play the first 4 games!
