When have I ever been sarcastic?

Hate seeing Haas go down like that. I wanted them to lose but not like this. Hopefully, he makes a full recovery and goes on to do big thing. Hopefully pu bows out quickly too.

I think it is more from my end, since I never wanted Marshall and thought it was nuts anyone wanted him as the coach here.

As much as I hate Purdue, I respected Haas, it does suck to see him go out.I also wish they lost at full strength so PU fans can't say "We would've won with Haas."
I liked haas. To bad for him.

I know a lot of people say we are not supposed to like Butler anymore, but I really like watching them play basketball.

And just as I post that, they look tired, and make 4 mistakes in the next 5 possessions lol. Not all the mistakes bite them in the @$$ tho. Butler must lack depth this year coz no substitutions.

I've decided I still like Butler.

Agreed. The down side being a state school not named IU will be in the sweet sixteen.

As much as I can't stand Purdue, I'm sad to see the news about Isaac Haas. Despite his wandering elbows against us, he's an easy kid to root for. His sister has a rare form of epilepsy and at her worst, could have as many as 25 seizures a day. The folks in West Lafayette did a gofundme page for her and raised a bunch of money to get her a seizure dog. ... Plus, I'm from one of those half-PU, half-IU families -- my dad was raised near Lafayette and went to PU. He passed last May, so I was sorta hoping they might have a nice run so he could enjoy it from where he is. But I'm not sure how far they'll get now.

I think they are capable of making a run anyhow. They still have a very good team and Haas isn't biggie.

I agree! I didn't hate Kentucky until they hired the cheat.

The biggest effect this has is that now opposing teams only really have to focus on defending the three, rather than attempting to defend both inside and outside, plus they lose bench depth down low big time. If they shoot how they have this season, I expect them to succeed, if they go cold, they'll be in trouble.
