I really feel the shooting infused on this team next year will be huge. Understatement of the century, but we could have one of those turnarounds like the year Zeller came if Romeo comes imo.

At least this time it's a good bet - first off we probably can't get any worse.  As long as Morgan stays, we won't be losing much from the roster, and Archie has clearly begun to correct the non-skill weaknesses of the past (defense and turnovers).

That was a really fun game to watch. I don’t generally like lower scoring games, but that was fun. Freddie McSwain, what can you say about that performance except just WOW. 16 boards? Against MSU? But, they all have 4 inches on him? WOW. He really brings it every night. That guy is a Hoosier. We didn’t shoot it well at all tonight and ended up losing because of it. Some really great moments though. Green hit some big shots and had zero turnovers again. Juwan fought his butt off. Rob took 15 shots tonight and struggled, but he was engaged all night on D and got hammered on a couple drives with no call. The thing I have noticed more and more often with this Archie coached team is that our players are always, always the first on the floor going after loose balls. I love that. Man, I can’t wait to see what this guy can do over the next couple years.

In the press conference Izzo is crying about how young his team is. I see where CTC got that excuse!

Call me a whiner or complainer. MSU plays the "they can't call every foul" **** and it works. How a ref stands right next to a play and completely ignores it is beyond me. Jackson set some great screens that got shooters open. Great meaning he extended arms or his shoulders to slow down the defender. At one point in the second half he just ran into Morgan to get free then gets a foul on Hartman when his hand was straight up?! McBob asked an official about it going into a timeout. The officials reply was "ill watch it." Yes, you watched it but completely failed to call it. Complete nonsense.

As painful as some of our games have been, I'm probably more optimistic than I've been in a long time.  It's just the damn waiting.

Apparently we aren't supposed to mention poor officiating, but if my memory serves correct it was the same guy that ignored the shoulder into Morgan (ref was 5 feet away looking directly at it), the missed out of bounds in the second half that hit the MSU player's foot last and (I believe) the steal under the basket where the MSU guy was 8 inches out of bounds.  Not blaming the loss on the refs, but that guy (the dude with short gray hair) appears to be either incompetent, blind, or betting the spread.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I love the Hoosiers. Been a fan for over 30 years. But I am so sick and tired of waiting for Banner number six. We can't even make it to the Final Four. Not since 16 years ago. I'll believe it when I see it
