darB s'tI Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Was speaking with some friends recently, and isn't it ironic that this just "went away" for Izzo & Company, yet again? Believably unbelievable. Key staff surrounding the golden boy all fired, yet Izzo remains standing. Lord help the ladies involved (and their fathers) who now know sports trumps all. If this were 99% of other schools, a full house cleaning would have been done. Makes my blood boil to know they get away with this ****. Iugradman, WayneFleekHoosier and Deserthoozier 3 Quote

I predicted when it happened izzo was not and will not go anywhere. They let it all blow over because winning is all that matters and why college bball is a cesspool that will not be cleaned up. That being said I hope izzo loses in the first game. He deserves it.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk darB s'tI 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 It is awfully disheartening that this completely disappeared in the media. I don't believe it is over but Izzo won't be touched. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

mdn82 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 How did they do that?Because they handed out cards before a nationally televised game requesting the crowd not verbally abuse Izzo or they could be tossed. So basically we couldn’t cuss at him or things like that. According to what the usher told us. Apparently that bothers some?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Equally frustrated here. Again MSU and IZZO are March Madness darlings. Cheating, scumbag, winning coaches are adored by the media that ACT appalled by the cheating in the industry. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners MikeRoberts and Deserthoozier 2 Quote

Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile appThey are all scumbags but rape to me is more serious than what Pitino did that is publicly known. It’s hard to quantify though since we don’t know the half of it. What I do know is the decisions Izzo was allowed to make he shouldn’t have been able to. The school put pressure on people/areas they shouldn’t have all been able to. I hope they all rot in hell. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app cthomas and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Yet another place where politics play. The media likes Izzo and LOVE the amazing stories out of East Lansing that showcase his players giving their time. They quickly glance over the fact of a lot of questionable characters up there. Izzo appears to be from the same cloth if what we know is factual as it seems that it is. Literally win above ALL else. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app We don't have to stoop to that level. Classless behavior from thousands of people won't change the punishment. If we're so worried about the status of and respect for Indiana basketball, allowing people to behave like heathens should also be avoided. A program is often judged by its fanbase right alongside the team and relative level of success. Str8Hoosiers, mookied39, Hoosierfan2017 and 3 others 6 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Never said the chants had to be classless. See nothing wrong with a "Time to Retire" chant. Instead we protected his feelings. Shame the scum never protected the women of his community with the same effort. Deserthoozier 1 Quote
