You think the way we prepared, played, made adjustments was fine? 20 point throttling by ipfw at home is not ok ever

In no way do I think this loss was ok or fine.  My point is sometimes there is only so much a coach can do with a group of kids who seem more interested in playing video games than winning a ball game.  This isnt 1950 where u can beat on a kid to get ur point across so hence my question....what can a coach do with kids who have had 2 coaches that they don't wanna give tough effort for?

Archie didn’t have the team prepared. Shouldn’t be losing by 20 at home to Fort Wayne. I can’t believe the excuses by some on here

I am not or never will condone that game from a coaching or player standpoint. As many things should have and could have been different. But, what can anyone “prepare” for in one day sandwiched between games? More than likely Sunday was no more than a film study and a walkthrough with some light shooting. That said it was a piss poor showing.

Who on the current team woke up pissed today...? I'd be willing to bet most simply woke up and went about their day not giving much thought to it. This team is SOFT, mentally weak, lacks any sort of toughness, etc.

I really want an Indiana team that wants to play FOR Indiana, absolutely despises losing, won't back down from a challenge, and wins as a team.

This team is full of role players with little heart, determination, and desire to win. They were recruited by a clown that stayed around too long.

The rest of this year will be a rollercoaster because we have seniors who are inconsistent and lack leadership. Was it a coincidence Newkirk played so few minutes in IU's biggest win of the season?

No one said anything about "beating on a kid to get a point across".  Here's a revolutionary idea, use the bench to send a message.  Starters aren't performing as they should be expected?  Start someone else.  Replace the whole starting lineup if you have to, I mean if we're just going to write every embarrassment off as 'up and down year' there's no reason not to, so they know that they're performance is unacceptable and cannot/will not be allowed to continue.

Getting completely destroyed and utterly humiliated to friggin' IPFW AT HOME is something that needs to be answered for.

I know we cant beat kids! Thats my point! I legitimately wanted to hear views on what everyone thinks can be done to change effort and attitude.  I personally doubt the starters would even care if they sat.  They looked like they wanted to anyway.

And if they don't care if they sit they can stay there.  They're not going to perform then they're not going to play, period.

I hope we see a different starting lineup.  I doubt we will.  I'd have a minimum of 4 new starters next game, find out who gives a crap.

I agree with u, I really do.  I just worry that Glass questions Archie when he starts that.  But I do agree.  If u don't wanna play...move on.

If it's me.

I start

PG- JuMo as point forward
SG-Hartman
SF-Smith
PF-Moore
C-DDavis

I can't even begin to make a starting 5 that makes sense and/or deserves it that can win games. We lack shooters, dribblers, passers, create ur owns, and so much more.

I like this idea.
