Yeah I get tired of people that say “step away from the ledge”. That crap gets old. Us as people are reacting to this game today. It was nothing but bad and that’s unacceptable

Exactly what I expected.  You're not winning on the road against an equally matched team.  We'll beat Iowa and then get steam rolled by ND and UL.

There is a difference between thinking we would win and not expecting to see a total lack of intensity, unforced errors, terrible defense etc.

It bears repeating. Romeo isn't a savior. He'll help no doubt but we have a ways to go even with Romeo imo. It would be a feel good moment for the fanbase but on the court all the other blue bloods are getting their "Romeo" and front court "Romeo's".

We have a hill to climb.

ESPN gave us a 42% chance to beat Duke.  They gave us a 22% chance to win today.  I don't know why anyone is surprised with the result.  Beilein is a top 5 coach and has an equal or better roster and was playing at home. Those who thought we'd win today know nothing about basketball.

Not even close to a winnable game. It’s a well coached offensive team playing at home in the Big Ten. Vs a IU team that will be wildly inconsistent as they are learning a new system and are ranked in the 200’s on defense. The only road games on paper that are winnable will be Neb, Rutgers, Illinois, and maybe Ohio st.

Tough turnaround game. Monday I think will be better. I felt like this was a strange offensive game for us. Something just seemed different. Ball movement was different somehow. I don’t just mean different from Duke. I mean different from everything since Seton Hall. Michigan deserves some credit I guess but I felt we seemed less decisive with penetration and off ball movement. I’m gonna let this one go. I think it was a regression yes, but a predictable regression, given the huge game played earlier in the week. I fully expect a better result against Iowa.

Extreme example but Duke already has the numbers 1,3, 8 ranked 2018 recruits.

Powerhouses UK and Vandy have four of the other top 13 players.  

Three of the top 13 have not committed.

Seven of the committed top 13 players are going to Duke, UK and. Vandy.

Also, Kansas has one of the other three top 13 and UNC has another.

Thats not jumping off the ledge. Jumping off the ledge is any of the following; we arent going to be good for three years, Romeo isnt coming because we are bad, the pack line sucks, we arent going to go .500. All of that is what is being referenced. I dont think anyone is debating the fact we played like crap today or saying we shouldnt say that.

I don’t think anyone is jumping off a ledge. It’s understandable to be upset after a loss like that one. I think we can all admit it wasn’t good. Bad actually. I haven’t thought any of the comments have crossed any line. Everyone wants the same thing here.
