It's a sign!  There is a great pic on #iubb  twitter from today showing a rainbow over and ending on top of The Hall. Archie has now been endorsed by God and that is good enough for me! A new era of IU basketball greatness has began!

Thanks. You have no idea how hard it was to stay that positive during that crapstorm! I am worn out. Anyway--back to "the sign"---I think we should call the rainbow over The Hall today "Archie's Arch". Amazing that it was there the day he was hired.

Saw somewhere AM had a seat reserved for the state title games today. Any sitings heard?

Id guess he didn't make it. He probably had a lot of stuff to sort through on top of getting his affairs in order to move ASAP.

Would like to know what it said. Kostas has HUGE potential. Not just because of who his brother is either. Bring him with ya Archie. Heck pack his bags for him.

This is a good article concerning the hiring of Archie. It kind of makes the flight aware stuff look silly. He met with IU officials in Atlanta and San Jose.

Awesome story. I am glad Archie told them before Alford said no to shut people up. The job was spoken for probably before then but I am glad we didnt just jump into it. We took our time made sure no one like Donovan would change his mind and got our guy. Woot woot

Gonna have to compete with the big dogs with recruiting. Izzo still carries more weight than Archie Miller. Crean thought Indiana would land him the 5 stars. It didn't quite work out like that.

The last couple of years our guys would work hard to get a guy and it would come down to us and a place like Michigan State, and (Tom) Izzo would end up getting them,” John Miller said. “And it wasn’t because the kid didn’t want to go to UD. It was like, ‘Hey, it’s Michigan State! It’s Izzo!’ And boom, we’d lose him because it was a bigger place.”
