I don't know how you go from basically saying an announcement for BD is probable this week to it being dead. He also said "LOWER your expectations for anything IU" which is a direct shot at our administration.

Ads good as Wilkes could be, it's not a deal I would make. Ever. Alford will be THAT much of a bust/liability.

I don't know if Wilkes would leave UCLA with Alford. 

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a huge part of Alford's pitch was networking with local NBA talent.

Maybe instead he should have told posters to lower their expectations of any information they get from he and the others there.
