However, Stevens would surely listen. And one more thing to remember. Brad was offered when IU technically didn't have a job opening. Now they do. Up the ante on the offer on top of that and just maybe IU could get him Quote

Ryno6284 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Not saying he would say yes, but he is respectful enough to at least listen. Quote
SteelerHoosier Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I personally don't think it would be disrespectful to let that call go to voicemail lol Quote
Trish Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Brad will without a doubt listen to Fred, he's to much of a gentleman. He probably won't accept an offer but he'll at least listen and tell his wife.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 I said it yesterday and I'll say it again now... Money talks. I'm sure he enjoys his job now, but if we come at him with a large offer we're going to have his ear. I didn't think we had any shot but then I saw that he's only makin around $3.7 million a year. It's not like he's already making $6 million like Donovan. Quote

chuckbull Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Just read on ESPN ticker that Stevens is "not interested in the IU job. Would be in Boston until they decide to go in another direction"Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
WestCoastView Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 We know we don't know who will coach IU BB next year. Make Brad Stevens an offer he can't refuse. The enormous branding and marketing from National Championships will pay for itself. Hoosierfan2017, ALASKA HOOSIER and Napleshoosier 3 Quote
WestCoastView Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 IU doesn't need an "IU Guy" it needs the best Brad Stevens. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

iubb Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Celtics just blew back to back 18+ point leads against the lakers (18) and clippers (28 points and lost by ELEVEN) Media and fans are ready to run him out of town given their performance this season. So for those of you clamoring for Stevens.... https://twitter.com/SeanGrandePBP/status/1094438627453661191 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Rico and GloryDays 2 Quote

pumpfake Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Even if we were in a coaching search, I still don't think the odds of him coming back to college ball are any where near guaranteed. By all accounts he prefers coaching in the NBA over the 24/7 demands of coaching and recruiting. Also, I'd imagine if the Celtics would fire him there'd be many NBA teams eager to hire him. d_wilson787 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 The NBA is much like the NFL in they just recycle coaches. yogisballin 1 Quote
