I agree that Alford could very well come here and then bomb or be mediocre. However, I could see him being very successful, too. The former is not a foregone conclusion. I would rather have BD or Marshall, but I would rather have Alford than Bennett, Archie, or Collins. I think Alford could attract some serious talent. Again, I'm not pro Alford, but in the event he does come here, I won't be distraught. I will be hopeful.

I'd take Bennett and Miller long before Alford.  I want Collins about as much as Alford, that is to say not much.

Give me Bennett every day of the week over Alford and it isn't even close. Dude gets his kids to over achieve, play fundamentally sound, and dude knows defense.
