I said those guys as bad defenders. Nothing else. They all are electric on offense, but if we are trying to mention JBJ with those guys were expecting him to be a star. Not even the case whatsoever. I never said he was ever gonna be one of those guys so any comparison should be thrown out. They are also pgs not sgs so it is their job to create isnt it? All I am saying is JBJ could easily find a role as a bench guy who provides shooting. Not saying he will ever be a star or even a starter in the NBA and that isn't a bad thing.

And shooting along can buy you a ticket to the NBA.

That was the second sentence in your original post I quoted. Again, it isn't true.

Everyone at this point in the NBA in a creator, wings/guards are being more ball dominant every year as the NBA moves  closer to being positionless.

Why is shooter one of the biggest words used during the draft or in evaluations. Any NBA team sees a shooter and some ability at other aspects which JBJ has they will take the chance to see if they can coach them up. That is why there is College ball and professional ball. I dont get your positionless argument that only helps JBJ? The point is JBJ will have a shot. Just like any kid who has one aspect of his game that is above average at that level. Not saying it happens, but no reason it can't either. Yogi was horrible for the worst team in the league....joins the Mavs and he is taking off. It is all about team fit.

Laker and IU fan? Finally someone who feels my pain as a basketball fan. IU & Sixers for me lol. Raiders and Cubs keep me upbeat. Least this year.

I'm a Cubs fan as well, thank god our boys took care of business this past season. What a great year.

Basketball wise, I've been so use to losing (lakers) that I rather tank in all my basketball programs. Hence, why I want IU to keep on "tanking" ;)

So so true!!! The Greek freak for just 1 example. Jump shot, broke. It's getting better though. LBJ has never been a good shooter. Shooting used to be a ticket. Is it nice to have and valuable, ABSOLUTELY but can't make it on just that. If he had some handles to throw in, he'd be sitting a little better

I have a hunch most of the players from Crean's 9 yrs at IU can't stand him

An inlaw of mine is good friends with a former Crean player. This player says Crean is the worst player he ever played for.

I could see any Crean player saying that. The guy just doesn't know the basics of basketball

You cant really use someone that is nicknamed The Greek Freak as an example. He is an exception. LeBron is another guy you don't use. Sometimes there are other world talents and you just appreciate them. Why don't anyone name any back end bench players so JBJ has a chance in comparisons lol. I get what your saying but there is no point. So your saying he has no shot whatsoever cause that is the only argument against what I said. I can name 5 guys off the top of my head that came in as shooters and learned to get better at other things. JJ Reddick, Kyle Korver, Tim Hardaway Jr, Etwaun Moore, Robert Covington and I could keep going. We will see this time next year if JBJ has a shot and he may not but to say he has no shot is crazy. Zeisloft even had a shot at the Mavericks as well as Ron Baker with the Knicks. No point in arguing this right now for either of us. Some players work better in different systems in every sport. Creans doesnt really help any of our guys show off other aspects. The PG and a big if they can shoot are really the only spots that Creans offense helps.
