Crean's last game tonight 🏽

Still got the NIT Treesh. 2 or 3 games out and it's done. We are good. Then our attention turns to the hire. If marketed good it could potentially turn into recruiting wins early. Like when Calipari went to UK. If mismanaged it could be like Alford's first couple of years. We don't want that.

Mizzou AD is supposedly flying to DC to interview Crean. Have heard this more than once, but wasn't posting till I heard it more than once. If you read that article regarding their search it makes sense. I fully expect Crean to be named Missour's head coach probably Monday. No way they wait on his NIT run to come there.

Unless the interview doesn't go well.  Wouldn't be surprised if they ask him a question and he starts pacing back and forth across the office clapping and points at them yelling good question good question.

But..But... :(

Yeah the paperwork has been submitted or whatever. But wouldn't it be best to cut our ties ASAP and get started on the search? I mean we're already searching right now we all assume. I just don't see the point in being in the NIT. This season has been a major disappointed for everyone involved. We went from #3 in the country to being on the bubbe of the NIT.

Our basketball players want to play basketball games!

It's almost as simple as that. If we want the players on the team to want to play for Indiana, and to continue to want to do so no matter who the coach is, restricting them from playing in competitive games would be big time counter-productive.

All the coaching candidates know who they are and know the job will be open. Two more weeks for the NIT won't scare them off if they want the job.

Sorry fellas, tonight isn't Crean's last game...but the end is nigh.

FIRE HIM! This is embarrassing

I agree ... I think it's best to cut ties with Crean ASAP....i'd ;like to see them do it after the BTT and let one of our assistants coach the NIT ....not sure how realistic that is though ...like i said yesterday .... we could be waiting a couple of weeks on this news ....

I think what it boils down to is that a lot of people in this state just aren't very smart and don't like talk of change because it forces them to think.

Ive said that my whole life. Between some Colts and Hoosier fans I have to believe that some of them either share one brain or came from Kentucky.

What's the problem with cutting future ties with Crean AND allowing him to coach out the rest of the season?  It'd be a good way for the players to say goodbye to someone they do like and respect a great deal.

Then there's the other extreme...the Colts/IU fans who want to fire everybody and clean house. (Looking in the mirror)

If the first fans are dumb, does that mean I'm exceptionally smart?

I think it depends on the current situation. I'll see if I can find the tweet but I searched Colts on twitter earlier and someone was already calling for Ballards head because he didn't sign Nick Perry from the Packers.
