Just asking because I'm not familiar with Iowa State's ability to bring in the same caliber of recruits. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app They are not at the same level as IU with regards to recruiting and tradition, but have similar strength in facilities and they get their fair share of 4 star guys. The biggest problem that McDermott had there is that he would get good recruits, who would then transfer out after a year or 2. It was a constant revolving door. There was a lot of complaint about his system being too structured and not allowing any freedom. Perhaps it was just that specific situation, but it certainly impacts my thoughts. Josh 1 Quote

HoosierRob Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Jmv saying Crean staying...one would think he is connected . Or just kissjng Crean's @$$ like all the mediaSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appJmv is not connected, so I wouldn't really take it seriously what he said. I would be surprised if glass let crean go to this point. dallas44 and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

pumpfake Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Two things notable from that Doyel article are 1) Glass claims the coaching staff was involved in making the decision to abstain from hosting a game, and 2) he specifically addressed 'booing'. I don't know what to make of it, but it would indicate that all involved are well aware of the dissatisfaction with the state of the program as it stands today. A.j. Popular Post Shoes_N_Shorts Posted March 13, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 13, 2017 Sounds like a good reason to not tune in to Sterling's show. How can he let Glass go without even trying to get an answer? Unbelievable. You have to understand that this is how radio/TV/beat writing works. It was almost certainly a condition of the interview that no questions about Crean be asked at this time. This is a good sign if you want Crean gone next year. dallas44 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Also, even if jmv knew something. He knows if he says Crean is gone he will create a **** storm, and burn his bridge with crean if he's back. Just my opinion Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

He just seems to be doing well at Creighton. Structure also seems to be one thing the Hoosiers are missing. Quote
